Charter Yacht Sailing Turkey

Graceful, elegant, and sumptuously endowed,
Lady Christa II is the splendid offspring of distinguished boat-building tradition married to extensive yacht-charter experience. Carefully handcrafted in Bodrum, Turkey, Lady Christa was designed with the aid of a naval architect and built by a team of celebrated shipwrights to satisfy the comfort requirements of a five-star hotel while combining the beauty of classic wooden yacht design with outstanding performance at sea. To achieve these objectives the number of guest cabins was limited to five, each with a fully equipped en suite bathroom. A luxuriously appointed lounge has dining table, bar, and video/audio entertainment center while also housing an inside steering console. Lounge and guest cabins are constructed of varnished mahogany while hull frames are of oak and the planking is iroko. Ketch-rigged, Lady Christa II is 105 feet in length and carries a full suit of sails. She is air-conditioned throughout while each cabin is sound-isolated within bulkheads of solid mahogany. The spacious aft deck has a shaded dining and lounging area.

Dear Homo Sapiens, There is no need to continue reading this page. What follows is intended for search engine robots and spiders and not necessarily for human beings. Further information concerning charter yachts sailing Turkey and Greece may be obtained by clicking on the gray links immediately above. Thank You. You may be searching for a charter yacht sailing holiday in Greece. Or for a crewed rental yacht sailing holiday cruising the Turquoise Coast of Turkey. You may be dreaming of a Blue Cruise. Or of Cleopatra's Honeymoon Route. Perhaps on your own honeymoon or anniversary. Honeymoon, anniversary, or otherwise, you might like to charter a sailing yacht to cruise Cleopatra's Route up Turkey's Turquoise Coast and among Dodecanese and Sporades Islands of Greece. Cleopatra's honeymoon took place beginning Charter
Yacht Sailing Greecein 32 BC and ended the following year. It occurred some years after her marriage to Marc Antony, a marriage which might not have been recognized in Rome where Antony had another wife. It was also some time after birth of their three children, but it was the first occasion Antony had been free of harassment by Parthians or Armenians or other discontented subject peoples. Cleopatra and Antony honeymooned aboard four royal barges accompanied by a large number of Roman galleys such as that depicted to the right. They came up from Alexandria pausing often, as was the nature of barges and galleys, to collect taxes, to gather food stuffs, and to rest. History does not tell us all of the places they paused along the Turquoise Coast but it does mention Arycanda, Patara, Lydae, Loryma, new Knidos, Cedreae, Kos, Ephesus, and Samos, and one might well imagine it also included wealthier cities such as Side, Aspendos, Perge, and Phaselis. But if not Cleopatra's Route you might wish to cruise Artemisia's 480 BC track with fifty Carian triremes from Bodrum along the Aegean coasts of Turkey and Greece to Salamis, near Athens, with just as many pauses en route. Artemisia was at the time satrap or queen of Caria, and it was at the battle of Salamis that the Great King Xerxes said, "today men behaved like women and women like men." Do you already plan to holiday in Greece or Turkey? Would you like to holiday aboard a sailing yacht chartered in Gocek? Are you searching for Gocek in Turkey? For Kekova Roads in Turkey? For Finike or Roman Arycanda in Turkey? For the magnificent theater at Aspendos? Well, come aboard Lady Christa II, a crewed charter sailing yacht offering a holiday merging the first and twenty-first centuries. Come aboard a charter yacht with an experienced crew able to show you Cleopatra's Route from Side to Samos and beyond, to show you Artemisia's track from Bodrum to Greece. And able to discuss the several men in Cleopatra's life as well as Artemisia's heroics admired by the Great King at Salamis. A proper crewed yacht available for charter in Greece and Turkey.
